How is LongTail different from my regular vet check up?
Most vet visits focus on treating illness once its visible. LongTail is about prevention identifying early signs of diseases months or even years before they cause problems. We provide deeper lab panels, genetic risk analysis and microbiome testing that aren’t part of standard annual tests.
What kinds of problems can you detect early?

Will LongTail health replace my vet?
No. Longtail Health is not a replacement for professional veterinary care. We give you preventative insights and personalized plans, but your veterinarian remains your dog’s primary care provider.
How does the testing process work?
We partner with licensed veterinary professionals to collect your dog’s blood, stool, and saliva samples as needed. These are analyzed in certified labs. The results are uploaded into our platform, where our AI models interpret 50+ biomarkers and generate a personalized health plan, reviewed by veterinary advisors.
Which dogs benefit the most?
